If COVID-19, known now as coronavirus, behaves like most other viruses in the world, we can expect what scientists call a “second wave.” Robert Redfield of the CDC said in a recent Washinton Post article it could happen next winter. Whether or not a second wave of coronavirus comes in late fall, or in winter, or any other time, we have all learned a lot about how to combat the spread of the virus.
Say it with me. Social distancing, wash your hands, don’t touch your face, wear a mask, use disinfectant.
Only time will tell if coronavirus is something new to worry about every year or if it will fade into the pages of history like many other viruses have. But it only makes sense to practice the safety guidelines established by the CDC.
Fastforward to shopping for the supplies you need to help you implement the safety guidelines. By now, most of us have had the experience of walking up to a store shelf on which we expect to find sanitizer, soap, rubber gloves, or masks, only to find it bare. While Bahama Bo’s does not offer masks or gloves, we do offer quality hand sanitizer that kills 99.9% of germs–with a delightful Ocean Fresh scent–as well as moisturizing hand soap and moisturizing hand lotion.
With so much hand washing, using a soap with aloe vera in it can go a long way for keeping your hands feeling soft and clean. But if you’re using a variety of soaps around your home or business, there very well may be a need for a quality hand lotion with moisturizing ingredients. And it just so happens we have a hand lotion that will truly make your hands feel amazing. Bahama Bo’s moisturizing hand lotion ingredients include aloe vera, shea butter, cocoa butter, mango butter, and vitamin E. It’ll make your hands want to give you a high five.
To directly answer the title to this article, if you want to be prepared for the potential second wave of coronavirus, make sure you have plenty of hand soap and hand sanitizer to help you prevent the spread of the virus.
We don’t know exactly what the future holds, but we do know whatever we are holding, it will probably be followed up with handwashing and sanitizer. Whether you’re watching for the second wave of a virus, or a second set of waves off a sandbar, go with something that’ll make your skin feel great. Bahama Bo’s. Stay safe and be well, America.
